You know who makes me laugh? Courtney!

So my freshman year at CBU I met Courtney Weatherly. We lived on the same hall and became friends. That means, I have been with Courtney for 9 months out of the year for 4 years in a row. Now we have graduated from college, moved back home and are separated. I miss how much she makes me laugh and how much fun we had together. She is one of the funniest people I know and I miss having my buddy with me 24/7.
Court can say one word or make one face and she has me cracking up. She gets my humor and I get hers. We could go on and on about one small thing and end up laughing forever. I am blessed to have her as a friend.

Freshman year

and even got food stuck in our teeth together. Around this time, we cleverly put our names together and called ourselves, "Hillney Weatherdon"

Sophomore year came along and I got to live next door to Court. We spent a lot of time together and this is when our friendship really took off..

We parted ways and went to our homes but saw each other a few times this past summer for a few weddings..


Courtney always had the top bunk and I had the bottom. I miss seeing this face peer over the top to talk to me..

Now she has moved to Arkansas and is far away but despite the distance, I know our friendship will continue because who else is going to laugh at me when I leave all the cupboard doors open and who will laugh at her when she talks out of the side of her mouth? :)

This will be us in 60 years..
